Pumpkin Spice Lattes

I think I literally screeched when Starbucks brought back the Pumpkin Spice Latte.  Like, out loud.  As I might have mentioned, I have a wee obsession with pumpkin.

But with all that excitement, I think I've only had one PSL this season.  Instead, I've been doing some at-home Pumpkin Latte hacks.

Combine 1 cup milk, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, 4 teaspoons sugar and 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice.  Heat on stove on low, whisk.  Add to espresso, or double-strength brewed coffee.  Top with whip cream (optional) and a pinch of pumpkin pie spice.

It also works with regular coffee, or a microwave.  Just stir them all together and heat.

Voila.  I just saved you $4.

(Starbucks newsflash: Today through Sunday (November 18th - 21st) between 2-5pm, when you buy one holiday beverage, you get one free!  Options: Caramel Brulée, Peppermint Mocha or Gingerbread Latte.  You'll need to remind the cashier.  Make a coworker happy!)
