Procrastination MVP
I am a champ at putting off the gym.
Today, I tried on my new running shoes. I should have taken them off, in order to cut off the plastic attachment holding the two shoes together. Instead, I kept them on and shuffled to the kitchen for scissors. Making 1 inch steps. Very practical.
Then, I spent 20 minutes making a new running playlist. Adele, Black Eyed Peas, Muse*, Rebecca Black...ooh, cereal.
Good call, Rebecca Black, cereal break.
Eat cereal.
Gchat with Andrew.
Google "dot matrix printers".
Look up weather.
Pout about it being snowy tomorrow morning.
Dance around to Mumford & Sons.
Search for hair tie.
Fold laundry.
Take off shoes to photograph them.
Realize I am not a shoe photographer.
Meet the UPS man.
Upload photos.
Play on Pandora.
Put shoes back on.
Write this post.
Wait until the gym is at peak capacity...
...Okay, ready now.
*Andrew will be sad that Muse is included in the same playlist as Rebecca Black. The intricacies of my brain, boyfriend.

This made me laugh because as I am reading this I am fully dressed to go to the gym but I too decided to make a new playlist then browse blogger! :)
ReplyDeletenow it's gym time...
Haha this was funny. Have fun at the gym!
ReplyDeleteI too am sad that Rebecca Black and Muse are on the same playlist :p
Hahaha. This is hilarious. I will do just about anything to avoid the gym - my favorite is to put on my gym clothes with every intention of going and then plopping down on the couch and suddenly feeling "sick" and just relaxing on the couch. It's a vicious, vicious cycle :)
ReplyDeleteYou sound like me before I do my workout. Glad to know I'm not in it alone! :)
ReplyDeleteOk so we have 2 things in common. 1) Our boyfriends have the same name! 2) I am a world class gym-putter-offer. I get a workout just avoiding the gym :)
ReplyDeleteHA! So, did you end up going? I really like your new running shoes!
ReplyDeleteI did make it! It's never that bad once I get there!
ReplyDelete...and don't worry, I made it about 7 seconds into Rebecca Black and got bored.
ahhh i need to get back to my routine! life has been so hectic lately. and inching to the kitchen for scissors is something i would totally do lol
ReplyDeletethank you so much for stopping by and for your lovely comment!
ReplyDeletehow cute i hate the gym so i never go but i have been better about getting out for a bike ride everyday
ReplyDelete:-) :-) I tried to but I love tennis more...
ReplyDeletelovely greetings
Haha this post is exactly the way my plans to work out happen also. At least you made it there eventually = ]
ReplyDeleteUgh, I am so there with you. i have found out over the course of time, that if I don't force my @ss outta bed early and get a workout done first thing, then it is likely not going to happen :)
ReplyDeleteWhat part of DC are you in again....I am thinking it might be time for a DC area bloggers meet up!
I just linked back to your "Chevronettes" picture...the reason why will probably make you laugh!
ReplyDeletehahaha!! i totally do the same thing :)
ReplyDeleteAs long as Muse is on your playlist, I think you're good ;)
ReplyDeleteI don't blame you... B+gym is not a good combination! IF I go, I'll be on a treadmill for 5 minutes until I get bored... or I start to feel a light sweat which means it is probably time to stop haha! I am all about the yoga... it doesn't feel like "working out" and it has made such a huge difference!
Good luck! I have always admired runners... I am only known to rock the "power walk" from time to time haha!
Hope you have a wonderful day!

That Girl in Pearls
Haha! I am glad to know I am not the only one who has shuffled with the plastic thing attached to find scissors!
ReplyDeleteI think it's a great photograph!! And I'm the same waybwith the gym...once I'm there, I'm fine. But getting me there is the issue...big issue!
ReplyDeleteThis made me laugh, mainly because I'm the same way - every night I say to myself "Kiersten, tomorrow you will go to the gym." And unfailingly, the next day I always find a reason why me going to the gym is completely out of the question for that day. "I have to post on the blog. Then study. And of course I have to watch A Very Potter Musical with my roommate...." etc. You get the point....
ReplyDeletethis post made me laugh. :)
<3 Kiersten
hahaha what a funny post! :D
ReplyDeletethanks for the nice comment about my dress :)
xx
Sara
