How to Ensure a Windy Day

1. Curl your hair.
2. Wear a wrap skirt.
3. Walk to work.

If you do all of those things, it is guaranteed to be a windy day.  And if you're lucky, you get to do the "clutch and walk" with your skirt so that K Street doesn't get to see your Marilyn Monroe moment.

  3. SERIOUSLY. Every time I wear a skirt that's loose or too short, it's SO windy.

  5. Why is it that that always happens? For me it's when I straighten my hair--the weather just doesn't want to cooperate!!

  7. This post cracked me up! I'd also like to add that if you really don't want to take any chances in ensuring a windy day, you should also wear sticky lip gloss that your hair will stick to! :)

  19. For me, that's the equation for a rainy day. Almost any time I try to curl my hair, something goes wrong. Go figure.

  20. Oh love it. That is EXACTLY how today was. Insane wind minus the fact that I wasn't wearing a skirt. But still. Thanks for the comment :)

  21. i adore this post because it's so true! so many times i have gotten caught having to clutch my skirt or dress and i despise the way it makes you look and feel, but it's been necessary to do far too many times!
