While I have no particular affinity towards tiramisu the dessert, I've always loved the word. The Italian espresso-laden dish literally translates to "pick me up." This is my attempt to catalog my pick-me-ups.
Blogging is my reminder to slow down and pay attention to the simple moments. Life is generally characterized by Big Things: graduations, weddings, birthdays.
This is to catch all the Little Things that fall between the cracks. The subtle, everyday moments that don't always make the scrapbook, but that are equally - if not more - important than the Big Things. (I'm looking at you, sweatpants and goat cheese.)
